Passengers flying from the Middle East and North Africa to the US can now take electronic items on board flights.
A ban put in place by the Trump administration has now been lifted on items including laptops on flights from destinations including Turkey and other mainly Muslim countries.
The changes follow the start of enhanced passenger vetting by the US as well as more advanced screening of personal electronic devices. The advanced measures cover commercial flights from 280 airports in 105 countries that offer non-stop or direct services to the US.
