Virgin Voyages has opened bookings for its winter 2020/2021 season of itineraries around the Caribbean and Mexico.
Scarlet Lady, the line’s first ship launching in April 2020, is offering five-night cruises from Miami to Mexico and the Dominican Republic, plus a four-night itinerary combining Key West in Florida with Bimini in the Bahamas.
Virgin Voyages started selling its inaugural season of summer 2020 cruises in February.
Putting the winter 2020/2021 season on sale means agents can now book Scarlet Lady itineraries departing from 1 April 2020 to March 2021.
The Mayan Sol itinerary will travel to the Costa Maya in Mexico, while Dominican Daze will see the ship make its way to Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic where activities will include surf school, trekking through canyons and taking a cable car up a mountain. Both voyages will also include stops at The Beach Club at Bimini private club.
The four-night Fire and Sunset Soirees itinerary includes a sunset departure from Key West and a day of relaxation at Bimini culminating in a late-night “bonfire soiree”.
Virgin Voyages had originally planned to call at Cuba on its itineraries but it had to change these plans in June after the Trump administration suddenly banned US cruise ships from visiting the island.
We’re completely rethinking how entertainment at sea is done with carefully curated, original and uniquely Virgin experiences.
