Vueling has teamed up with Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS) to launch a new online package holiday platform.
The IAG-owned airline’s Vueling Holidays platform will initially offer flight and accommodation packages.
However, the brand says it will look to expand into bolt-on activities and experiences.
It will operate in the UK under Expedia’s Atol, and will also sell in Italy and Spain - two of the airline’s main markets.
The agreement will give Vueling Holidays’ customers access to 500,000 Expedia accommodation options in more than 25,000 destinations.
Samuel Lacarta, Vueling digital director, said: “One of our main objectives is to provide a great customer experience from booking right through to in-destination activities.
“By launching Vueling Holidays, collaborating with EPS, we’ve been able to make planning and booking a holiday more seamless and can now offer great package deals at competitive prices.”
Ariane Gorin, EPS president, added: “EPS unlocks the power of Expedia Group for our travel partners and Vueling Holidays is a great example of this being put into practice.
“Our global network of dedicated experts is well-placed to support Vueling in the launch and expansion of its new package holiday platform.”
