The event takes place in Harrogate on Friday 11 October, and will provide practical tips for travel agents and tour operators to help them find and connect better with clients interested in wildlife travel. The one-day conference will also explore topics such as animal welfare in tourism, travelling without plastic, and digital marketing.
Debbee Dale, director of event organiser Converge Exhibitions, said: “We’d like to extend an invitation to former Thomas Cook and Freedom travel agents, as well as product and marketing managers, to attend this new event as our guests. The summit will give an opportunity to make new connections with tour operators and other suppliers in the wildlife travel sector, and also to be inspired and informed about a fast-growing and lucrative part of the travel industry.”
Recently announced speakers for the Wildlife, Safari & Conservation Summit include Hurtigruten’s Anthony Daniels, Audley Travel’s Jonny May, Explore’s Naomi Jackson, and Steppes Travel’s Jarrod Kyte.
