Three new luxury resorts are set to open in Grenada over the next two years.
With a total of more than 350 rooms combined, Royalton Grenada and Kimpton Kawana Bay are both expected to start welcoming guests in 2020, and Six Senses La Sagesse, on La Sagesse beach, is due to be ready in 2022.
The latter is La Sagesse resort group’s first Caribbean site and is the creation of Range Developments.
Royalton is being built on two beaches in Tamarind Bay and will have 269 rooms, which will make it the largest resort on the island – Radisson Grenada has 231 and Sandals Grenada has 229.
Kimpton will provide 100 rooms on Grand Anse Beach in its first phase.
“Luxury bookings of hotels, resorts and villas have been increasing steadily over the past three years, with year-on-year growth averaging 8%, and the outlook is robust,” Grenada Tourism Authority’s CEO Patricia Maher said.
