Flybe has signed a new interline agreement with Korean Air providing feeder flights to its South Korean hub in Seoul.
Agents will now be able to book clients travelling from the UK’s regions to fly to Asia via one of the airline’s European hubs at Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle or Amsterdam Schiphol.
They can either terminate their journey in South Korea or transit for further flights to 12 cities in Japan; 25 in China; Sydney and Brisbane in Australia; Auckland, New Zealand; and Nadi, Fiji.
Korean Air regional manager UK and Ireland Roy Kim said: “The new interline agreement with Flybe is great news for the trade and our regional customers, who will benefit from an improved choice of connecting flights and pricing.
"The deal opens up many departure points, although we anticipate Edinburgh and Aberdeen will be the most popular.”
