Celebrity Cruises UK chief Jo Rzymowska has thanked trade partners for their “sheer grit and determination” working amid the coronavirus crisis.
In a new video update released on Wednesday (29 April), she said the line was “doing an awful lot” to make sure it was keeping in touch with agents, adding: “We’re here for you.”
“I’m delighted by the amount of comments I’m getting from trade partners to say we’re accessible, [that] the team is there, the call centre is there and we’ve got our live chat as well which is being well used – so please do make use of that,” Rzymowska said.
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd’s RCL Cares programme – featuring a range of support from its brands Celebrity, Royal Caribbean International, Azamara and Silversea – had gotten off to “a great start” after it was launched last week, explained Rzymowska.
“We [will] continue to build on that as we go through this time and also into the future as we feel like it is a great tool for you, our trade partners.”
Rzymowska said the corporation was “working diligently” on its return to service programme – stressing how from [chair and chief executive] Richard Fain to [Celebrity president] Lisa Lutoff-Perlo the company was doing “the right thing at the right time to make sure our guests and our crew are safe [and] that we continue to provide incredible holidays”.
“Thank you so much for your support. Please do make sure you contact us, me, Claire [Stirrup, UK and Ireland sales director] or any of the team – we are always here for you and thank you again for everything you do for us. Thinking of you, stay safe and stay well,” she added.
