Grimley will become director of trade sales, Scenic Group UK, moving over from his role as Riviera’s head of sales. He will work across the group portfolio of Scenic River Cruise, Scenic Eclipse, Scenic Land Tours and Emerald Waterways River and Ocean Cruises.
He will have full responsibility for leading a sales team of 10 supporting Scenic Group UK’s agency sales and key agency partners.
Meanwhile Dawn Quinn, current head of trade sales for Scenic Group UK is taking a sabbatical for 12 months for family reasons.
Elsewhere, Steven Morrow joins from Regit as digital marketing manager, Scenic Group UK, and Laterooms.com’s Martin Solly joins as brand manager, Scenic Eclipse.
Additionally, following the promotion of Rachael Shaw to global head of yield and revenue management, Scenic Group the UK business has also strengthened its commercial team with a string of new hires: Chris Matthews as commercial manager, Kerry Weldon, commercial analyst and Mohammad Patel as commercial analyst.

“I’ve always admired Scenic and its sister brand Emerald Waterways, they are two great businesses that are very pro agency trade and have a best in class portfolio of quality products. It’s also a pleasure to be working again with Colin.”
