Singapore Airlines will resume pre-pandemic schedules from Heathrow from 2 June, offering four flights a day plus enhanced UK regional connections.
The carrier currently operates three times a day to Singapore. An additional frequency, the SQ321, will be added on 2 June.
All flights will operate under Singapore’s Vaccinated Travel Lane protocol, with pre-departure testing still in place.
Singapore no longer requires quarantine on arrival, but all passengers must take an antigen test within 24 hours of arrival.
In the UK, an interline partnership with Loganair has been launched covering seven routes.
The agreement will connect Aberdeen and Inverness with Manchester’s Singapore Airlines services, with Aberdeen’s Loganair flight enabling the Manchester-Houston connection in addition to the Singapore service. Other connections include Teesside to Heathrow and Isle of Man to London or Manchester.
Mohamed Rafi Mar, Singapore Airlines’ UK and Ireland general manager, said: “Singapore Airlines is delighted to announce its new interline partnership with Loganair, giving our passengers greater connectivity and flexibility with their travel options.”
Singapore Airlines is also expanding in Australia. It now operates 80 flights a week to the country and will add Cairns to its network on 28 March, with Darwin the following day.
