Thomas Cook has grown its Croatia programme with the introduction of packages and flight-only options to Dubrovnik for next summer.
Services will operate twice a week from Manchester with Thomas Cook Airlines from May, and a total of eight hotels around Dubrovnik will feature in the expanded programme.
Among its property offerings are the five-star Valamar Dubrovnik President Hotel and the three-star Hotel Cavtat.
Nicknamed the Pearl of the Adriatic, Dubrovnik has taken centre stage on the silver screen in recent years, serving as a filming location for HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones.
Chris Mottershead, Thomas Cook UK managing director, said: “We introduced Croatia for the first time this summer and the variety it offers has been extremely popular.
“To meet this growing demand we are delighted to not only be introducing package holidays to the Dubrovnik coast next summer, but we are also increasing our capacity into Split by over 40%.”
Cook has introduced two flights from Gatwick and an additional service from Manchester to Split – located on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast – with further holiday options from Bristol and Glasgow also available.
Christoph Debus, Thomas Cook Airlines chief airlines officer, added: “The short flight time to Croatia makes it the perfect destination for both a long weekend break and a main summer holiday. Our new flights into Dubrovnik mean customers will now be able to explore a new area.”
Thomas Cook Airlines’ flight-only fares begin from £141.99pp return excluding luggage. Holiday packages lead in from £599pp for a seven-night half-board stay at the Hotel Astarea departing from Manchester on May 16, 2018. The expanded programme went on sale last week.
