Attraction World founder and chief operating officer, Tony Seaman, is leaving the business.
After 10 years with Attraction World, Seaman has stepped down to spend more time “on other interests and pursue new business opportunities”.
Seaman has been heavily involved in the success of the company, creating a trade brand and securing major accounts for the business, such as Thomas Cook UK & Ireland.
With a new management team in place since February, including Simon Applebaum as managing director and Nick Hughes as sales and marketing director, Seaman believes the new structure will “take the company to new heights”.
“The time is right for me to make room for the new team and allow them to continue with the exciting plans they have in place,” he said.
“As technology plays an ever more influential part in all aspects of our business, the team is excellently placed to continue to grow our trade business in the newer online environment.”
Applebaum joined from Affinion International more than three years ago and Hughes, who previously worked for Seaman at Holiday Autos, was brought into the business as head of sales more than six years ago.
Applebaum said: “Tony has lead a first-rate handover to Nick and myself.
“I’m delighted he’ll maintain a stake in the business and continue to offer me consultancy whenever required.
“While I’m sad not to be working with a close friend day-to-day moving forward, I’m incredibly grateful for the fantastic position that Tony leaves us in, and that shall be his legacy.”
