Travelbag has refreshed its senior team with a series of high-level appointments.
Suzanne Harvey joins the dnata-owned long-haul specialist as head of product.
Harvey joins Travelbag from Travelopia where she was head of purchasing and contracting for the operator’s long-haul tailor-made brands.
She brings 15 years’ experience in travel having started at First Choice before moving to Sandals as business account manager.
Harvey will report to chief commercial officer B2C long-haul Matt Bell and lead a product team of seven.
She will also work closely with Travelbag’s new managing director Lesley Rollo, who joins after Easter, to develop and deliver worldwide product strategy.
John Bevan, chief executive of dnata Travel Europe, said: “We’re looking forward to leveraging Suzanne’s experience. We have big ambitions for Travelbag in this its 40th year, and she’ll be critical in bringing those to life.”
Darren Hitchcock, meanwhile, has joined Travelbag as commercial manager.
Hitchcock reports to head of commercial March Rocha and brings more than 20 years’ experience in product and commercial roles, having previously worked with Thomas Cook and Hotels4U.
