Clarke will assume the role with the members only deals site on December 3 after some 12 years with Fleetway, replacing Joel Brandon-Bravo.
“James has a strong track record delivering profitable business growth,” said Travelzoo global chief executive Dr Holger Bartel.
“His knowledge in sourcing deals will ensure Travelzoo continues to provide outstanding and high quality travel experiences.”
Clarke joined Fleetway as sales and marketing manager in July 2004. During his 12-year stint with the business, he variously headed up the company’s e-commerce, operations and business development functions before being appointed managing director in 2015 and later chief executive.
He will be based at the company’s London office.
