Travel Counsellors held a Family Day at Alton Towers where more than 350 children and counsellors enjoyed colouring competitions, face painting and a chance to win prizes such as a stay at Alton Towers’ Splash Landing Hotel, spa days and goodie bags.

A selection of costumed characters from Visit Kent descended on London’s St Pancras station to give out free kisses to commuters and visitors as part of its #KissesFromKent summer campaign. The colourful cast included a bearded lady, the Wife of Bath, a surfer, a medieval lord, a heritage train driver and a nurse.
