Wizz Air has launched a new route connecting Yorkshire with Hungarian capital Budapest.
The low cost carrier will fly the route from Doncaster Sheffield airport three times a week.
Fares will lead in from £17.99.
The route will launch on October 29, flying Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
It is Wizz’s second new route from the Yorkshire airport after announcing Debrecen, also in Hungary, earlier this year.
Debrecen flights will begin in December.
Last week, Wizz, which is a Hungarian airline headquartered in Budapest, announced it would base an additional Airbus A321 aircraft at Luton airport, allowing it to add flights to Lisbon and Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city.
Owain Jones, Wizz Air chief corporate officer, said the Budapest route would give people in the north of England easy access to one of Europe’s “most beautiful and vibrant” capitals.
