Zambia Safari with Kate Humble
This nine-night journey is hosted by writer and broadcaster Kate Humble, best known for her wildlife and science work with the BBC. Having fallen in love with Africa at 19, Kate has returned countless times. On this Steppes Travel trip, in partnership with Nikon’s Comedy Wildlife Awards, travellers will stay in riverside safari camps in South Luangwa and the Lower Zambezi, exploring on foot, by canoe and on game drives with top African guides.
Award-winning photographers Paul Joynson-Hicks MBE and Tom Sullam, co-founders of the Comedy Wildlife Awards, will also join to offer creative and conservation insight. South Luangwa is one of the few parks where walking safaris are possible, offering the rare chance to see lions and leopards on foot. Cruise the Galapagos with Martha Kearney
Travellers will join BBC broadcaster Martha Kearney on an exclusive 15-guest charter of Natural Paradise. Martha, best known for BBC Radio Four’s Today Programme and This Natural Life, brings her passion for conservation. Sailing across eight islands, guests will encounter endemic wildlife that inspired Darwin, from marine iguanas and boobies to penguins and sea lions, guided by expert naturalists. Activities include daily hikes, snorkelling with sea lions and panga rides.
