LATA’s DESTINATION LATIN AMERICA Roadshow is a series of three UK evening events hosted in partnership with Travel Trade Events.
The evenings will bring together a curated audience of travel agents, equipping them with the tools and information needed to drive bookings to Latin America.
Starting with relaxed tabletop networking, exhibitors and agents will interact over drinks and canapes, before being seated for the main dine-and-train experience.
Between courses, suppliers will share insights with the whole room, and the evening will end with a lively quiz putting agents’ new-found knowledge gleaned over the evening to the test.
Danny Callaghan, LATA CEO, said: “I am delighted to be taking our popular roadshow back out again with a new format. Latin America holds so much potential for travel agents but we know that many lack the confidence and knowledge to sell it.
"At LATA we continue to develop our offering and services for travel sellers, partnering earlier this year with The Travel Hub Collection to support with virtual training, and now with Travel Trade Events for in person training events.
"I look forward to welcoming our exhibitors to these networking evenings alongside many sellers and designers.”
This year, LATA’s DESTINATION LATIN AMERICA will be visiting Manchester (9 November), Solihull (10 November) and St. Albans (11 November) with a range of suppliers from across Latin America joining the events.
The current confirmed list of exhibitors is: PromPerú, PeruRail, Australis Cruises, PromTur Panama, Copa Airlines and Costa Rica Tourism Board.
The roadshow will welcome travel agents with a specially crafted programme aiming to showcase the region and provide agents with key contacts, information and the tools needed to confidently sell the destinations and drive bookings for their business.
The event is free for agents and will be brought to life with food and drinks, Latin American themed entertainment, and a prize draw.
