Lemongrass Marketing has launched its 2025 Impact Report, unveiling a year of measurable progress, strengthened accountability, and industry-leading initiatives designed to transform travel into a force for good.
Rooted in the belief that travel has the power to connect people, protect places, and strengthen communities, the Impact report from Lemongrass outlines how the agency is driving meaningful change across nature, people, and the wider industry - while challenging itself to go further every year.
Key highlights from the report include:
• 19.3% reduction in carbon intensity (CO2 in line with Revenue), far surpassing the agency’s annual stretch target of 11%
• 265+ volunteer hours across community organisations and environmental projects
• £19,965 donated to charity and conservation causes
• 92%+ average team satisfaction, reaffirming Lemongrass as an employer of choice
• Recognition as a Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2025 winner
• 13% increase in clients prioritising sustainability and social impact.
• Appointment of a Director of Nature and a Director of People and Culture
“Real change demands openness,” the report states. “Not everything we try works as planned. But we remain committed to learning, evolving, and being honest about our progress.”
Mirjam Peternek-McCartney, founder and CEO of Lemongrass Marketing, said: “At Lemongrass, we believe responsible travel is not just the future of the industry - it’s the only viable path forward."
Next year, the agency aims to achieve a further 6% reduction in carbon intensity, expand team advocacy at global events, and continue investing in high-quality climate and nature projects.
Abi Best, Managing Director at Lemongrass Marketing, concluded: “We made a huge amount of progress in 2025. Now, as we look ahead, we’re doubling down on our commitments to nature, people, and community because the travel industry needs bold action, not half-measures."
