The Global Piton Awards are the destination’s premier travel trade recognition initiative, honouring travel professionals whose dedication, expertise and passion for selling Saint Lucia have contributed significantly to the island’s tourism success.
This year’s awards held on June 15, recognised 34 outstanding travel agents from the UK, Canada, the United States and the Caribbean who generated the highest number of room nights for the destination during the 2025 calendar year.
For the UK, 10 winners, a mix of five travel agents and five tour operator res staff were recognised for their exceptional contributions to driving visitor arrivals and tourism revenue to Saint Lucia.

Saint Lucia’s marketing drive continues to highlight the development of community tourism, expanding hotel inventory, enhanced airlift and growing portfolio of events and experiences, encouraging advisors to continue elevating the destination in their respective markets.
These initiatives follow the recent announcement of a new multi-year global partnership with Arsenal Football Club as its Official Destination Partner. The agreement aims to deliver significant global exposure for Saint Lucia, in places such as the United Kingdom, one of the island’s leading tourism markets.
