A shift from room service has occurred, with tent Hotels partnering with Just Eat to turn hotel communal spaces into social dining hubs. Following a 60% increase in takeaway orders across tent Hotels last year, the initiative seamlessly integrates food delivery into the hotel experience, allowing guests to order from local restaurants directly to the property.

Combining the ease of on-demand dining with the social atmosphere of the hotel, guests can enjoy everything from burgers and pizzas to Chinese cuisine, all while making use of fully equipped communal areas designed for eating, relaxing and connecting with fellow travellers.

The partnership reflects a growing shift in flexibility and personal choice at the heart of the hospitality experience. At the same time, it supports local restaurants by encouraging visitors to discover and enjoy regional food offerings, creating a mutually beneficial model for both travellers and local businesses.

Currently available across seven tent Hotels in Mallorca, the concept is set to expand to Málaga and Costa Brava in 2027, further establishing tent Hotels as a pioneer in blending hotel hospitality with the convenience and freedom of modern food delivery.

Iñigo Barea, General Manager of Just Eat, commented: "This partnership reinforces our commitment to innovation in the delivery sector, adapting to key consumption moments during holidays. Thanks to tent Hotels’ infrastructure, we are bringing local food directly to the hotel’s communal areas, while supporting local restaurants."

Antonio Flores, Operations Director at tent Hotels, added: "With tentlivery, we aim to adapt the hotel to the way our guests want to travel today: with the freedom to choose what, when and where they eat. It is not simply about offering delivery, but about integrating it naturally into the hotel experience, creating spaces designed for guests to share, relax and enjoy during their stay."
