InsideAsia and InsideJapan offer cultural adventures that have been shaped by people. And no two cultural adventures are the same. They each take in the unique highlights that will excite individual clients, the hands-on cultural moments that offer a window into local people’s worlds, and of course, plenty of time to soak up everyday local life.
Soon both of these B Corp brands will be showcasing an exciting new look, as InsideAsia’s new “People Make It” branding launched to the trade on 11 December – complete with a new-look website – with InsideJapan to follow later in 2026.
Global trade manager Gabo Quiros explains: “While agents will see us as more as Inside Travel, whether they choose a cultural adventure from InsideJapan or InsideAsia, we promise them a team of friendly people who care about their clients’ trip, just as much as they do. All with a service, we believe, they won't find anywhere else.
“Our travel consultants make our trips with their experiences, curiosities, eyes, taste buds and minds. Our agents’ clients make them with their backgrounds, interests and own unique life-stories. Together, they give you Asia adventures perfected by people. Trips shaped by those who made their obsession their profession. So when agents put their reputation in our hands, we take that seriously. From the first quote to the moment clients return home, we make them look like a rockstar, every step of the way.”
Here are just some of the people who help make Inside Travel’s trips unique:
Creating the best trip for first-time visitors to Japan
InsideJapan’s Best of Japan tour is an ideal option for clients visiting the country for the first time, as it spans cities, countryside, hot springs, great food, history and culture.
Chris Wiggin (pictured) from the Japan product team helped shape this 14-night self-guided adventure, and explains: “I spent 12 years living in Japan, and Best of Japan is the itinerary I wish I could have handed to my mates visiting me. It pulls together the big-name highlights such as Tokyo's buzz and Kyoto's traditions, while also including the mountains, coastline and countryside that show the Japan I really fell for.
“The pacing works just right: never rushed, never dragging. And it’s as much about the experiences as the sights: staying in a ryokan, soaking in an onsen, cycling through the countryside. For me, this is the trip that shows the best of Japan, with the 24/7 Inside Travel team making sure it all runs smoothly.”
InsideJapan also organises incredible small group tours, which showcase local life and are led by expert “insider guides”. In this video you’ll hear from insider guide Chuck, and local guide Natsuko, as they share how they create “unexpected magic” on their trips:
Crafting a rail adventure in Korea
On InsideAsia’s Korea by Rail fully-customisable 12-night itinerary, clients experience the thrill of Korea’s world-class, high-speed rail network as they zip from capital to coast, historic centre to seaside city.
Youngeun Cho is Inside Travel's South Korea product executive. She was born and raised Korean and extensively trialled this itinerary, including travelling on the brand new KTX bullet train line between Gangneung and Busan. She explains: "For Koreans, taking the train feels totally normal. It's their commute to work, or a simple means of travel. But for your clients, it might be the experience they'll never forget.
“Watching the mountains roll by or the coastline stretch out either side of the tracks is something that locals take for granted. That’s what Korea by Rail is all about: slowing down, seeing more and getting a real feel for local life. And as destination specialists we know to recommend and book seats on the left side of the bullet train, so your clients enjoy the coastal views the entire time."
Thinking about which side of the train to position guests on is one of the many ways the team ensure your clients have the best possible trip. Working with local, expert guides also means that each trip is tailored to their interests. In Seoul, clients wanting a private guide, and those on the Soul of Korea small group tour, are often led by Meggi, who was born in the USA but now lives in the destination. She tailors her tours to what western clients want to see and showcases the everyday slices of local life.

Showcasing the very best of Kerala
InsideAsia’s Northern Kerala Explorer is a fully-customisable 14-night itinerary that spotlights the best of Kerala. Clients can expect jungle safaris, tribal festivals and royal history as they explore a magnificent range of south Indian landscapes and experiences, all while avoiding the traditional tourist trail.
South Asia programme manager Jess Andrews (pictured) joined Inside Travel to help launch its India proposition. She explains: "I’ve spent more than 20 years developing trips across South Asia, lived in Sri Lanka and travelled India more times than I can count. Northern Kerala is the one place I always come back to. It slows you down in the best possible way. You smile, chat with locals, and before you know it, someone’s inviting you in for tea or handing you a baby goat to hold. Completely unplanned, completely unforgettable.
“If your clients want an India that’s rich in culture but gentle in pace, our Northern Kerala Explorer is perfect. It’s full of authentic encounters, beautiful contrasts and gives travellers the time to actually enjoy the moment."
