Business Development Managers Eleanor Eccles and Sarah Gill will offer face-to-face regional representation, tailored training and bespoke marketing support to agents in their respective regions.
Eccles will support agents in the north west of England and Wales with her strong background in travel marketing and extensive trade-facing experience from her time at car hire firm, DriveAway.
Gill steps into the role of Business Development Manager for Scotland, the north east of England and Yorkshire. She began her travel career at Lunn Poly before working independent agencies and on-the-road based roles for specialist car hire and villa operators.
Both Eccles and Gill are immediately available for in-store shop visits, one-to-one meetings, team training sessions and specialised product or destination webinars.
Travelpack Chief Executive Vishal Patel said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome both Eleanor and Sarah to the Travelpack family. Their wealth of industry experience, genuine passion for the trade, and deep regional knowledge make them fantastic additions to our team."
Patel was promoted to Chief Executive from Sales and Marketing Director in August and was tasked with strengthening Travelpack's ties with the trade.
He added: "As Travelpack continues its rapid growth across worldwide tailor-made holidays as well as in particular the touring, sports, and cruise sectors.
"Our field sales presence ensures our agent partners receive the direct, hands-on support they need to maximise their sales and grow their businesses with us.”
Eccles said: "Travelpack is such a well-established and respected name with over 40 years of industry experience, so when this opportunity came up, I knew I couldn’t pass it up.
"I’m particularly excited about getting back out on the road, meeting and reconnecting with travel agents, attending industry events, and showing agent partners exactly how Travelpack can support their business.”
Gill added: “I started my travel career straight from school and have worked across independent agencies, homeworking, and on the road as a BDM.
"On a personal note, I have explored Europe and America extensively – though New Zealand holds a special place in my heart – and I can’t wait to bring that passion to my new role."
