Corinthia Hotel London
What to expect from the day - introduction from April Hutchinson, editor, ttgluxury and welcome from headline sponsor, Celebrity Cruises
9.30: Redefining luxury: What do consumers really want?
Consumers’ definitions of luxury are changing, and now it’s time for the travel industry to sit up and take notice. Dr Antonia Ward, Stylus’ Global Director of Advisory Services, will paint a fascinating picture of luxury’s latest directions – influenced as much by sustainability and emerging technology as shifting consumer attitudes – and what travel companies can learn from them.
10.20: Redefining luxury: New generation hospitality in the modern era
Everyone seems agreed: luxury has changed forever and is most often now a much more subtle, locally referenced, personalised and authentic experience. We speak with three relative newcomers into the luxury space to see how they have developed their own style and ideas and lessons they have learned along the way.

11.10: Life in the experiential era: Changing the way we find ourselves

11.40: Life in the experiential era: Changing the way we think about travel
Launched in 2017 by former soldiers Geordie Mackay-Lewis and Jimmy Carroll, Pelorus claims to offer genuine 21st-century exploration for the curious minded, designing individual holidays according to the client’s brief. This dynamic duo works exclusively with a network of industry leaders, who allow them to consider areas and experiences which – they say – most travel companies do not give a second thought.
12.05: Life in the experiential era: Taking travel one step further
Our incredible pre-lunch speaker Ben Fogle has scoured the globe in pursuit of challenge and adventure. In a world that is increasingly full of experience-seekers, this inspirational and affable broadcaster, writer and traveller will tell us what it takes to change the way you think about challenge and to understand what drives the people that do.
