TTG Media is continuing to raise the bar for travel awards as we announce the return of the Travel Industry Awards on 29 September 2022, in association with JetBlue.
Billed as "New York’s Hometown Airline", the carrier is the sixth largest airline in the US, operating in 26 countries and serving more than 100 destinations. In 2021 JetBlue launched its first transatlantic flights between New York JFK and London Heathrow and Gatwick Airports.
Maja Gedosev, general manager Europe for JetBlue said the Travel Industry Awards by TTG was “a great occasion for JetBlue to officially mark the first anniversary since the launch of London flights”.
“It is also a great opportunity to celebrate close partnerships we established with the travel trade across the UK and thank all travel agents for their tremendous support,” she added.
Taking place on Thursday 29 September at Magazine London, beside the O2 Arena, the Travel Industry Awards by TTG will showcase a spectacular celebration of travel alongside the awards presentation.
The programme comprises three groups of categories, including trade-facing supplier categories rated by travel agents and judged by TTG’s Top 50 travel agents; supplier categories judged by expert judging panels drawn from the highest level of the industry; and individual travel seller categories.
With all-new submission forms and new categories, this year’s programme will recognise the brands and individuals who have strived to work smarter, better and fairer over the past 12 months.
Entries for agent, supplier and selected special categories will open on 7 March. The early bird entry rate will run until 1 April, with all entries closing on 29 April. Entrants can register their interest from today (16 February).
TTG Media CEO Daniel Pearce said: “In 2021 we delivered our first new awards programme to huge acclaim, celebrating this brilliant industry under the strapline “Together We Are Stronger”.
“This year we’re planning an even more incredible event, championing those that are working to promote a smarter, better, fairer travel industry. We’re thrilled to announce JetBlue as our headline partner – a company as passionate about sustainability as TTG is, through their funding of projects which reduce the emissions of CO2 into the air. September 29 promises to be another fantastic evening – we can’t wait to see you all there.”
Entrants can register their interest today, and TTG will send reminders about entries opening and when tickets go on sale.
