ANZCRO celebrates 30 years alongside its iconic New Zealand Book’s 30th anniversary with a special edition, boasting updated content and new features.
This year, ANZCRO is excited to celebrate its 30-year birthday alongside the 30th anniversary of its iconic New Zealand Book with a special edition. Packed with new features and updated content, this version is the most comprehensive NZ Book yet.
Andrew Guthrey, ANZCRO’s general manager, recalls the company’s beginnings, emphasising the NZ Book’s role in showcasing its product range to travel agents. Originally a simple 15-page booklet, the NZ Book has expanded to a 140-page brochure, highlighting around 400 popular products and suppliers out of over 40,000 offerings. The NZ Book – or Bible as it is often referred to in the trade – really is the best planning tool for clients interested in New Zealand travel.
The 30-year edition of the NZ Book proudly displays a Maori Pounamu carving on its cover, symbolising the authenticity of relationships with cherished travel agents, suppliers and colleagues who have continuously supported ANZCRO over the past three decades.
Adding to its allure, the 2024 edition features a dedicated section for self-guided rail tours, including four of ANZCRO’s most sought-after rail packages. According to sales director Shubhra Halliday, rail holidays in New Zealand have experienced a surge in popularity, particularly self-guided tours.
For travellers seeking to create their own adventure, a motorhome holiday is the ultimate way to travel. To promote the freedom and comfort of motorhome holidays, Halliday has been driving a Maui Ultima Plus around the UK. This has been a training experience and a chance to showcase the motorhome to its full potential to both agents and their clients.
Reflecting on her travels from Hertfordshire to Yorkshire and beyond, Halliday notes the agents’ genuine astonishment at the spaciousness and livability of motorhomes, further solidifying their appeal as the ultimate mode of travel for adventurers.
The 30 Year edition of ANZCRO’s New Zealand Book is available to order from TradeGate.
