Visit Lauderdale has completed a dedicated sales campaign with the UK travel trade.
Tracy Vaughan, Senior Vice President of Global Trade Development, and Paul Mason, Senior Manager of Global Trade Development for Visit Lauderdale, met UK agents, operators and airlines including Jetset Holidays, Gold Medal/Dnata, Trailfinders, AmericanSky, Netflights, Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic Holidays and British Airways Holidays, during a mission to the UK from 19 – 23 February.
The team also hosted two dinners during the mission; one at The Ivy Tower Bridge in London with guests from Inspiring Travel Company, Scott Dunn, Travelbag, America As You Like It, Hablo, Jetset Holidays and American Sky; and a second at The Ivy Spinningfields in Manchester with guests from Carrier, Gold Medal/Dnata, Lusso, On the Beach, North America Travel Service and First Class Holidays. During the dinners, Paul Mason from Visit Lauderdale updated the trade guests on all the news from the destination.
The sales push culminated in Visit Lauderdale’s participation in the Visit Florida 2024 roadshow which took the team to Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham for a series of travel agent training sessions and product manager meetings and events, 22 – 24 April 2024.
