This is a team that cares deeply about each other and about giving something back: there is an impressive commitment to offering work experience placements and apprenticeships, and in September, five members of the team roped in other Hays Travel stores to take part in a 10-mile walk, raising an amazing £2,000 for the Young Minds charity, which Hays Travel matched.  This and other charitable activities, such as collecting toys for the Salvation Army every Christmas, recently saw the store win an outstanding community contribution award, bestowed by the chairman of the local British Legion. Always going the extra mile, both for customers and for those in need, has no doubt played its part in this lively travel agency’s success, with the Bexleyhearth branch recognised as one of the top performers in the Hays Travel group.
