The Shepherd Mayfair
Opening this September, The Shepherd Mayfair is an intimate 82-room boutique hotel in Shepherd Market, one of London’s most characterful enclaves. Set on the site of Mayfair’s oldest house, The Cottage, the hotel draws on the neighbourhood's rich history, reinterpreting it through a contemporary vision of quiet luxury.
Inspired by the proportions, materiality and refinement of Mayfair’s historic mansions, the design is a sensitive reimagining of heritage for today. All 70 rooms and 12 suites are individually designed, featuring warm timber, marble bathrooms, adaptable furniture and a curated collection of British art and photography. Three distinctive dining and bar concepts continue Shepherd Market’s social tradition: Fayre, a neighbourhood restaurant celebrating seasonal British produce and refined European classics; The Lounge, an all-day café and bar with an outdoor terrace; and Teddy’s, a discreet late-night cocktail bar hidden on the lower ground floor.
