For small groups of couples looking to unwind in spectacular surroundings, Interhome’s four- bedroom Villa Palma in Croatia is an ideal option. Guests can relax in the villa’s indoor spa, which features a sauna and a hot tub, before cooling off in an outdoor infinity pool with hydro massage and waterfall features.

Situated on the north coast of the island of Korcula, the property is metres away from the beach, within walking distance of Prigradica bay and less than four miles away from the town of Blato. Here, clients can check out its museum and local restaurants, including the Mala Kapja, which offers a farm-to-table dining experience.

Honeymooners seeking a secluded romantic getaway should consider GIC The Villa Collection’s Erimitis View property on the Greek island of Paxos, says managing director Chris Wright.
“It’s the perfect property for two people... with spectacular views over the west coast where you get stunning sunsets that turn the cliffs pink.”

Highlights include a sea-view infinity pool and the option to add the services of a personal chef or concierge during the client’s stay.

Wright adds: “Being located in the centre of this small island makes it perfect for people who want to split their time between the port villages of Longos, Lakka and Gaios. The villa is only a few minutes from Magazia too, which has become quite cosmopolitan over the past few years with its organic supermarket, trendy bars, cafe, bakery and the best grillroom on the island.”

Book it: GIC The Villa Collection has a week’s stay from £951pp based on two sharing, including flights, ferry transfers and car hire.

For families with older children, Villa Ruya near Kalkan, Turkey, is a sure-fire option to impress, says Lucy Cook, general manager at Visions Holiday Group.

“I adore this property because of the uninterrupted sea view from the master suite bedroom. Anyone staying there is sure to say ‘wow’. Being on the five-star Villa Hotel Mahal estate, clients can access spa facilities too.”

Clients booking through villa specialists Ilios Travel (the trading name of Visions Holiday Group), can choose to add on daily deliveries of fresh bread or have a private chef cook at the property.
Additional features include an infinity pool, a wraparound terrace for outdoor dining and easy access to the Mahal Beach Club.

Cook also recommends that clients experience the rooftop terrace restaurants of nearby
Kalkan. “I’ve just returned from Kalkan, where I discovered the family-owned Small House restaurant. I had the most amazing calamari that was served with homemade sweet pepper relish. You can even buy a jar of it – a must for clients.”
