• Business model: Hays Travel Homeworking offers new to travel and experienced travel professionals the opportunity to run their own independent travel business with the backing of the UK’s largest independent travel agent. Homeworkers benefit from flexible working, high commission levels, award-winning training, marketing support, and access to competitive supplier deals, enabling them to deliver exceptional, personalised travel experiences to their clients. This is self employed, and working from home trading under your own name @ Hays Travel.

• Costs: Experienced model Join fee - £295 plus VAT. Monthly fees - £65 per month. New to Travel Join Fee - £8,000 plus VAT (Payment plans are available). Non refundable deposit £2,400 payable at time of joining. No Monthly fees for initial 12 months. £65 per month from Month 13. No credit Card recharges. No Call charges. All models include an Annual Marketing Fund and Digital Marketing Allowance (eg Facebook Boosts). Personalised Website included. Laptop & Telephony included. Out of Office support included. Business Development Support Team. Homeworker Operations Head Office Team.

• Commission structure: This model is a self generated business eg No leads are provided. Commission is payable at 60% of the total commission earned by the Tour Operator. Commission is payable 50% the month after booking and 50% the month after travel. The opportunity to earn more commission is available based on performance. Contract terms will apply upon termination.

• Licenses and memberships: Homeworker will act as agent on behalf of Hays Travel Limited who are ABTA and ATOL registered. Hays Travel work with over 300 Tour Operators and Partners and have access to their own ATOL protected Tour Operator called VISTA.

• Training and support: Experienced Model Induction is 5 days, New to Travel Model Induction is three weeks. Both are held virtual with our Learning & Development Team A Laptop will be provided. Training includes Hays Travel working practices, Regulations, Systems, Documentation, Social Media & Marketing to name a few. Our New to Travel Academy offers a 12 month Training programme plus Admin assist.
