• Business Model: We operate a self‑employed model for home-based agents. While our PTAs work remotely, they can later move into our Co-op Consortium model if they wish to operate from a shop. Agents primarily use PTA branding, with options for solus branding if required. PTAs own their customer database and take it with them should they leave. Our model offers strong flexibility, independence, and full control of client relationships.
• Costs: Joining fees: £0–£495 depending on experience and preferred setut. Monthly fees: Maintenance £60 + VAT. Card fees: Agent pays 60% of actual charges. Optional marketing add-ons: £10 + VAT for website & full customer e-shot schedule. £10 + VAT for automated social media posts done for you .
• Commission structure: Agents earn 60% base commission, rising to 75% through our volume-based Commission Builder Scheme. Commission is paid on the final net commission and is released on the 15th of the month after customer travel. We also offer a forward-commission scheme if needed. Should an agent leave, all outstanding commission is paid in full. 100% of tour operator incentives are always passed on.
• Licenses and memberships: We hold Abta membership and an Atol licence, providing strong financial protection for customers. Agents have access to more than 300 approved suppliers and can request additional partners to be added.
• Training & Support: All agents complete a four-day induction, delivered via Teams or in person. Ongoing support includes dedicated business development experts, personalised business planning, and specialist marketing guidance. All booking administration is covered centrally. We offer a full training programme including personal development courses, overseas conferences, educational trips, and continuous updates to keep agents informed and connected.
• Sustainability & DEI: As a co-operative, responsible business is central to how we operate. Our in-house tour operator offers sustainable options and plants a tree and donates to charity for every booking. We have clear sustainability and energy goals at head office and provide “doing good” community funds. Agents also receive guidance to help them offer responsible and inclusive travel choices.
• Technology: We provide agents with the full Microsoft Office suite plus iSell/iBOS for searching, booking and managing customer bookings. Agents may use their own laptop or request one from us. We provide a full business insights suite which summarises data and trends for each individual agent based on their own sales. We provide a personal website and linked customer eshot schedule, with all offers and design, build and sending done for the agent by our experts. Other software provided includes a marketing materials ordering platform and full access to our agent portal for resources, updates and training.
