A team of industry stalwarts will trek the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu next month for charity.
Stephen Bath, Steve Endacott and Ruth Hilton will take on the four-day challenge in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
It is the latest charity challenge undertaken by Bath and Endacott – who helped raise £35,000 for Alder Hey two years ago by climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and also rafted down the Zambezi River for the charity last September.
Endacott has pledged to match all donations and each team member has self-funded their own travel meaning all funds collected will go to Alder Hey.
He said: “Alder Hey is a great cause. Your worst fear as a parent is having a seriously ill child and if it ever happened, you would want the best care humanly possible. Alder Hey provides that plus much more, with support to the whole family as well as the individual child.”
