Funway Holidays managing director Stephen Rhodes is to leave the tour operator after six years.
He will depart the US, Mexico and Caribbean specialist at the end of the month and is set to be replaced by product and commercial director Melissa Tilling.
Tilling has been product and commercial director for six years and has spent a total of nine years with Funway.
She said: “I’m really looking forward to building on the success achieved under Stephen’s leadership. In a challenging trading environment Funway Holidays has grown at a rapid pace.
“Expanding purposefully from a focus on the USA and Sandals into a leading, trade-focused long-haul independent encompassing diverse programmes in the USA, Mexico and the Caribbean.
“I’m delighted to be given the opportunity with my team to build on Funway Holiday’s success. I would like to thank our travel agent partners and my team for their support of Funway."
Tilling added: “I am committed to delivering quality air and hotel tailor-made holidays at great prices to our key destination, whilst providing our customers a great end-to-end holiday experience.
“We have outstanding people throughout the business who are committed to innovating, supporting, and delivering the best products and services for our customers.”
Earlier this month Funway promoted two of its senior team as it continues to recruit for a new sales director after it announced Amanda Darrington will leave the business.
Former head of marketing, Nick Talbot, was promoted to marketing director, while former head of commercial and product, Erica Collins, was made commercial director.
