Jet2.com has launched new vegan and gluten-free meal options.
Two vegan and two gluten-free meals are now available to pre-order.
The airline said the launch came in direct response to customer demand.
Its gluten-free options are a roast chicken dinner with grilled potatoes, vegetables and gravy, an all-day gluten-free breakfast with bacon, scrambled egg and roost.
Vegan options, meanwhile, comprise an all-day vegan breakfast and a Moroccan vegetable tagine with cous cous.
The new meals can be pre-purchased when booking with Jet2.com or Jet2holidays, or post-booking.
It comes after Jet2 introduced its first vegan offering earlier this year before partnering with Nando’s to offer its in-flight snacks.
Steve Heapy, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays chief executive, said: “Customer feedback shows there is strong demand for vegan and gluten-free options, so we’re delighted to be introducing these four delicious meals.
“We are always looking at ways in which we can develop our offering and VIP customer experience, and we are sure these new pre-ordered meals will be just as popular as the exciting in-flight menu changes that we have already announced this year.”
