Kuoni has said it wants travel agents to play a “central role” in its new peaks marketing campaign.
The operator’s new TV advert will be launched on Christmas Day, with a sign-off at the end to promote Kuoni holidays through all channels including agents.
Helen Roberts, Kuoni’s sales director, said she wanted to reach more agents with a personalised message that Kuoni cares “as much about their customers as they do, and will pull out all the stops to create a holiday for them which exceeds their clients’ expectations”.
She added: “It’s about reminding agents that they can trust us to deliver the very best holidays for their clients – from the knowledge and experience of our sales team to the Kuoni-trained staff who’ll look after their customers when they’re on holiday.”
The operator is also offering a new incentive to enable agents to collect discounts towards a Kuoni holiday.
During January, agents will be able to earn up to £50 cash per booking with Kuoni, or exchange the cash for double the amount in Kuoni discount vouchers, with up to a £100 discount per booking.
