MSC Cruises has announced two new Cirque du Soleil at Sea shows exclusive to new flagship MSC Bellissima, which will enter service next March.
The show, SYMA - Sail beyond Imagination and VARELIA - Love in Full Colour, will continue MSC’s partnership with Cirque du Soleil, which dates to 2013.
In total, MSC ships will boast eight original shows exclusive to is Meraviglia generation of ships entering service between 2017 and 2020.
This includes MSC Grandiosa, due to launch next November, and MSC Virtuosa, coming October 2020.
Pierfrancesco Vago, MSC executive chairman, said: “With the creation of Cirque du Soleil at Sea, we wanted to bring our guests the very best in onboard live entertainment and more importantly something that they would not be able to see anywhere else in the world.”
Yasmine Khalil, Cirque du Soleil chief executive producer, added the productions would “push the boundaries of entertainment at sea”.
Bellissima will feature MSC’s state-of-the-art entertainment venue the Carousal Lounge, which will be able to accommodate more than 400 guests a night.
