National Geographic Journeys will be expanded to feature 83 tours for 2018 including a new trip to Botswana, which will take in the National Geographic-funded Okavango Wilderness Project.

An itinerary to Mongolia will include meeting a nomadic family in the Gobi desert, as well as Buddhist monks and yak farmers, and learning about the reintroduction of native horses to the wild.

The programme also features a tour of southern Tanzania, visiting wildlife areas such as Ruaha national park and Selous Game Reserve, known for their lions.
