G Adventures has added tours in Botswana, Tanzania and Mongolia as part of its joint travel programme with National Geographic Expeditions.
National Geographic Journeys will be expanded to feature 83 tours for 2018 including a new trip to Botswana, which will take in the National Geographic-funded Okavango Wilderness Project.
An itinerary to Mongolia will include meeting a nomadic family in the Gobi desert, as well as Buddhist monks and yak farmers, and learning about the reintroduction of native horses to the wild.
The programme also features a tour of southern Tanzania, visiting wildlife areas such as Ruaha national park and Selous Game Reserve, known for their lions.
