Tui Airways has dropped its face mask mandate on all services to and from England and Northern Ireland, effective Friday (11 March).
However, in line with UK government and EU Charter guidance, the airline "strongly recommends" passengers still wear a mask throughout their flight.
Under current guidance, it is still mandatory for customers aged 12 and above travelling on Tui Airways to and from Wales and Scotland to wear a mask for the duration of their flight unless medically exempt.
Passengers may still be required to wear a mask when leaving the aircraft and inside airports.
It is also mandatory for customers aged two and above travelling to the US to wear a mask throughout their flight, and for those aged six and over flying to Italy.
Guests have been reminded to carry evidence if they are medically exempt from wearing a face covering.
The move comes after Jet2.com became the first major UK airline to relax its requirement for passengers to wear a face covering onboard its flights.
