The airline has integrated the Offer and Order Management Solution (OfrMs) from travel technology provider TPConnects to enhance its New Distribution Capability (NDC), with air and non-air ancillaries.
Travel agents that embrace the Oman Air NDC certified solution will have access to a broader airline inventory, including seats, extra ancillaries and a la carte with rate tiers and packages.
Iata accredited consultants will be able to transact the same way using Iata, BSP and ARC, while NDC transactions will be issued on Oman Air documents.
Non-Iata agents will have to contact the airline’s sales offices to access the NDC direct solution. OTAs and metasearch engines will be provided with NDC Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to access Oman Air Offers and Order management and after-sales service.

TPConnects OfrMS is integrated on top of the assets Passenger Service System and Frequent Flyer Programme we already have, hence we are able to get NDC Certified on Level 3 and go to market in less than two months.
