Due to be rolled out autumn 2017, the platform will include advert specification details, an automated booking facility, a workflow process for the in-house team to allow step-by-step approval right through to print, and finally generate invoices for payment.
The system is also aimed to "improve efficiencies for clients and their customers, introduce automation to streamline the process and reduce room for error from manual intervention" Vertical added.
The company claims it is the first system of its kind, and it will "place media sales teams ahead of the game in terms of their advertising approach."
The roll-out marks Vertical’s first venture into the "media management sector". Vertical’s managing director Rob Barker said: “While we retain focus on mainstream travel industry systems, this project creates exciting new opportunities and takes our development to another level.
"We have the advantage of our 35 years of software development and track record for robust systems that we hope will provide confidence to new customers in this sector.”
