Music in the Mountains
Visitors can get out and enjoy Mammoth’s scenic landscape and outdoor activities during the day and free music events at night. Going into its seventh year in 2025, Mammoth JazzFest brings many talented musicians to play in Mammoth Lakes. Visitors can experience 2 days from July 11-12 of free live jazz performances, a Friday Night Wine Walk, food trucks, and local vendors. From July 18-20 Mammoth Reggae Festival brings live reggae music to the mountains, three days of live bands and DJ sets all for free. Mammoth Villagefest brings rock and roll to a higher altitude, with live music for free from July 25-26, plus delicious food and drinks from local vendors.
Cheers to beers and margaritas
Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza is Mammoth’s biggest summer event, established in 1996, the event will see four days, from July 31 - August 3, of legendary blues music and celebrate some of the best craft breweries on the West Coast, this year’s line-up includes Marcus King Band, Samantha Fish, The Robert Cray Band, Tab Benoit and Steve Earle. Going into its 12th year Mammoth Margarita Festival sees Margaritas, and great music take over the Village Plaza for two nights from August 8-9.
Get together in the great outdoors
Take advantage of Mammoth’s epic outdoors and enjoy some of the destination’s most exciting events, Monster Energy Motocross (June 20 - June 29) is seven days of thrilling competition that sees riders compete to bring home a coveted Mammoth bear trophy. To close out the summer Mammoth Trailfest welcomes everyone to take part, from September 18 - 21 the multi-day experience is designed to increase access to trail running through education, and trail stewardship, world-class races for experts take on Mammoth’s mountain trails and community focused events for beginners to get a taste.
