What type of accommodation are you, and where are you located?
The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando is a full-service resort located in Kissimmee, Florida, right outside Disney World. We are located near Orlando International airport and our guests typically fly direct from Heathrow out of the UK, or from Dublin.
What activities and attractions will guests find nearby?
Our hotel is located six miles from Disney World and is a Disney Good Neighbor property (these hotels have a partnership with Disney and typically have a member of staff who can help clients with their Disney World experience). There is a complementary daily shuttle to take guests to the theme parks. There is also ample parking available for all guests, and while there are multiple dining options at the resort, there are also more than 50 within a two-mile radius.
How many rooms do you have and what categories?
The Grove Resort & Water Park offers over 1,000 rooms (including The Terraces at The Grove and The Grove) with a variety of views. Our resort view rooms offer a peaceful view of the gardens, resort, or palm tree lined entrance. Our superior view room types offer views of our Surfari Water Park, Springs Pool, or our protected preserve, Lake Austin. Room types range from a studio at The Terraces, all the way up to a three-bedroom, three-bath condominium at The Grove. Our condominium units offer kitchens with full-size appliances as well as full size washer and dryers.
What types of UK/Irish visitor are you best suited to and why?
The Grove Resort & Water Park and The Terraces at The Grove (one resort, different buildings) is extremely family-friendly as well as LGBTQ+ friendly. The Grove does accept groups as well. We are an up-scale property that offers wonderful value for travellers. Our condominium room types are perfect for extended stay guests, with full kitchens and washers and dryers.
What dining options do you have available?
The Grove offers multiple restaurants on-site. Valencia is a full-service restaurant offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Alfresco Market has a full-service coffee shop as well as a small grocery store. The Springs Bar & Grill is located across from our Springs Pools and offers lunch and dinner options, as well as drinks for the pool. Longboard Bar & Grill is located right in our Surfari Water Park and offers lunch options as well as many poolside drinks one can imagine. Byte, a new dining option, will be opening this summer at the Terraces at The Grove. Dyve, also opening in the Summer of 2024 at The Terraces at The Grove, will be an upscale outdoor pool bar.
Do you have any on-site entertainment and activities?
Entrance to our Surfari Water Park is complimentary for all guests. There are also three additional pools on-site, all with complimentary access. Our families love our Flip Flops arcade, which features glow in the dark putt-putt golf. Every month there is a kid’s activity calendar that rotates activities, both free and paid-for.
What are your rates/packages?
Our rates are seasonal and priced according to the type of room a guest books. They start at $189 per night (studio at The Terraces). This is not inclusive of taxes and resort fees. Taxes are 12.5% per night (subject to change) and resort fees are $40 plus tax per night for a two-bedroom condo, and $50 plus tax per night for a three-bedroom condo. This resort fee includes all access to our Surfari Water Park, transportation to the theme parks, etc.
