Olympic Holidays has its eye on the family market with a turn-of-year campaign featuring its first cinema advertising, shown before screenings of Mary Poppins Returns.
The Greece and Cyprus specialist operator said its “provocative and cheeky” #WelcomeToOurIslands promotional drive, launching today (December 28), features a 30-second ad highlighting its family island-hopping experience.
Olympic has worked with former Blue Peter presenter Katy Hill and her family to create the film, which showcases its product in Rhodes, Kos and Symi.
The promotional ad will be shown in 64 cinemas around the UK including the Odeon Leicester Square, while the operator will also roll out advertising on billboards, buses and trains in major cities across the country.
The campaign consists of three pieces of new artwork and accompanying straplines to communicate Olympic’s ‘Welcome to our islands’ message.

“The overall aim of the new campaign and targeting for us is to showcase the new Olympic to a fresh audience in key destinations around the UK. We want to highlight the quality of Olympic’s newly-refined portfolio, one that is packed with properties that are unique to the brand and which differentiate us from our competitors.”
