Following Century Star’s successful debut on the Danube, Century Cruises is proud to introduce Century Diamond, the second of four new ships planned for our growing European fleet.
Scheduled to make her inaugural voyage in August 2027, Century Diamond will bring our “Rivers Intertwined” philosophy to the Rhine, connecting our Yangtze heritage with the cultures, landscapes and traditions of Europe.
Purpose-built for Europe’s rivers, the ship will measure approximately 135 metres and welcome up to 174 guests in 76 cabins and suites across four decks. Hybrid propulsion technology and construction using approximately 60% recycled steel reflect our commitment to more environmentally responsible river cruising.
On board, contemporary luxury will meet thoughtful expressions of East and West. The main restaurant will draw inspiration from Germany’s Black Forest, with subtle touches of Chinese heritage. A lounge inspired by the warmth and elegance of a Viennese coffee house will feature artwork reflecting our Asian roots.
The culinary experience will continue that connection. Regional dishes, local wines and beers will celebrate the destinations along each route, while a Chinese dish on the menu will offer a taste of our beginnings on the Yangtze.
Century Diamond will primarily sail eight-day voyages between Basel and Amsterdam, taking guests past medieval towns, vineyards, castles and cultural capitals. Select departures will explore additional waterways and destinations within our expanding European programme.
Designed with North American and European travellers in mind, Century Diamond builds on more than three decades of Century Cruises’ river cruising experience, bringing together considered ship design, warm hospitality and a deeper connection to each destination.
Together, Century Star on the Danube and Century Diamond on the Rhine mark an exciting new chapter: a European fleet inspired by the rivers it sails and the communities along their banks.
Two worlds. One great voyage.
Century Star. Century Diamond. The Yangtze, Danube and Rhine. Rivers Intertwined.
