Discover Puerto Rico, the Island’s official destination marketing organization (DMO), has announced a partnership with Satisfi Labs to build an AI-powered experience and intent-matching platform for DiscoverPuertoRico.com.

Targeted at travellers and event planners, the platform converts natural-language queries into personalised recommendations and direct business referrals.

Unlike generic tools, the AI agents rely strictly on Discover Puerto Rico’s verified data. Satisfi Forward – Satisfi Labs' engineering team – will integrate the platform directly into the site. A proprietary matching layer connects user preferences with local hotels, venues, attractions, and service providers.

“Puerto Rico’s tourism industry is powered by businesses with incredible stories, but travelers do not always know how to find them,” said Storm Tussey, CMO of Discover Puerto Rico.

“This platform closes that gap by turning conversations into meaningful opportunities across the Island.” Launching in Q1 2027, the platform serves leisure travellers seeking curated experiences and event planners managing venue needs. “A world-class visitor experience happens when AI connects directly to destination data,” added Dan Flores, Head of Tourism at Satisfi Labs.

“Our Forward team will work hand-in-hand with Discover Puerto Rico to integrate agents seamlessly.” Rather than keeping users in chat loops, the platform prioritizes qualified referrals to vetted Island businesses. Discover Puerto Rico retains full control of its knowledge graph, keeping data citation-ready for third-party AI assistants. Aligning with the “Awaken Your Senses” campaign, the tool offers a warm digital welcome.
