Taiwan Tourism Administration (TTA) is set to showcase Taiwan's rich cultural heritage, diverse travel experiences and exciting new reasons to visit in 2027 at WTM 2026, (Stand N8-232).
Under its global tourism brand, "TAIWAN – Waves of Wonder," Taiwan will introduce new travel incentives designed to encourage repeat visits, support group travel and inspire international visitors to explore beyond the familiar highlights.
To encourage international travellers to return and discover more of the island, TTA has introduced a new weekly prize draw for eligible independent travellers who have previously visited Taiwan.
Visitors who have travelled to Taiwan at least once since 1 January 2023 may enter for the chance to receive NT$5,000 (approximately £120) in travel credit, with an additional NT$3,000 (approximately £71) available for one accompanying traveller.
The initiative applies to eligible arrivals between 10 October 2026 and 31 March 2027, with online registration required seven to 90 days before arrival.
For international conference and exhibition delegates visiting Taiwan between September 2026 and March 2027, special benefits include complimentary guided sightseeing experiences through Taiwan Tour Bus and a Taiwan PASS (THSR Edition), offering convenient access to Taiwan's high-speed rail network and selected local transport services.
Together, these initiatives are designed to encourage longer stays, support the travel trade and introduce international visitors to more of Taiwan's diverse destinations.
Linda Lin, Director of the Taiwan Tourism Administration London Office, said:
"Taiwan has so much to offer beyond the familiar highlights, from vibrant night markets and rich cultural heritage to spectacular landscapes and unforgettable local experiences.
"At WTM this year, we look forward to reconnecting with our travel trade partners, introducing new reasons to visit Taiwan and inspiring travellers to discover their own waves of wonder."
