Launched earlier this year, the platform, which connects solo travellers before, during and after their holidays, sees an average of 500 posts every week, with 800 members accessing it weekly.

Kindred is available to existing Just You guests and anyone who may be considering their first solo holiday. It is designed to inspire, reassure and connect, allowing members to share experiences, exchange travel tips and advice, and discover inspiration for their next adventure.

Each Just You tour departure has a dedicated 'trip chat', allowing travellers to get to know others booked on the same tour, while a Just You holiday director will join conversations ahead of departure to help guests prepare for their trip.

Kindred is free to use and can be accessed via desktop and as an app for mobile devices.

Charlotte Field, marketing director at Just You, said: “Ultimately if it’s inspirational, helpful or encourages people to connect, it belongs on Kindred. We've been really encouraged by the response to the platform since its launch, as we work towards our target of 10,000 members by the end of the year. What's particularly pleasing is seeing how members are using it to share advice, exchange experiences and connect with fellow travellers.

“For someone considering their first solo holiday, being able to speak to others who have already taken that step can make a real difference. And for those who have travelled with us before, Kindred offers a way to maintain friendships, share recommendations and look ahead to their next adventure.”

Just You offers a wide variety of tours, visiting destinations globally. Group sizes average 27 people, with select tours having a limit of 20 as part of its Max 20 collection.

All itineraries include return flights, daily breakfast and many other meals, overseas transfers and accommodation – with a guaranteed twin or double room of their own for every guest – plus a Just You holiday director.
