Las Torres Patagonia reopens on 1 October with a collection of new experiences giving agents more ways to sell an immersive stay in Chile’s Torres del Paine National Park.
New for the 2026/27 season is Kingdom of the Puma, a wildlife experience that goes beyond traditional puma spotting. Timed around sunrise and sunset, small groups travel by UTV with expert guides, learning to interpret tracks, guanaco behaviour and other signs that reveal recent puma activity. Where conditions allow, guests may continue on foot for closer observation. The experience also introduces travellers to the conservation work of Las Torres Patagonia Conservancy, including its efforts to monitor puma activity and understand how the species moves through the reserve. Wildlife encounters are managed to minimise disturbance, with the emphasis on understanding the relationship between predator, prey and landscape rather than guaranteeing a sighting.
Also opening this season is a new Interpretation Center, where guests can learn about the Kusanovic family’s history and the evolution of Las Torres Patagonia from a working ranch into a conservation-led tourism destination. Exhibits will explore the geology, biodiversity and cultural history of Torres del Paine alongside information about conservation projects taking place across the reserve.
For active clients, the new W Journey Circuit offers a hosted take on Patagonia’s famous W Trek. The five-day/four-night experience visits Base Torres, French Valley, Británico Viewpoint and the first Grey Glacier viewpoint, with groups of up to 12 accompanied by a dedicated host and taking part in rituals inspired by Patagonian culture.
From November, guests will also be able to experience Galpón, Hotel Las Torres’ new restaurant inspired by a traditional Patagonian barn and showcasing local produce, including ingredients grown in its regenerative kitchen garden.
Prices at Hotel Las Torres start from £1,755pp for a two-night all-inclusive stay. Guests travelling in October can stay four nights and pay for three, including meals, transfers and excursions.
