Scenic Group’s 40th anniversary fleet expansion includes Emerald Lumi joining Emerald Cruises & Tours’ European river fleet on France’s Seine in 2027, Scenic’s entry into India’s Hooghly River in 2027, and two new ships, Scenic Spirit II and Scenic Spirit III, launching on the Mekong in 2028.
Emerald Yacht Cruises will add Emerald Raiya in 2027 and Emerald Xara in 2028, expanding its offering across warm-water destinations, including the Seychelles. Scenic Ikon will debut in the Mediterranean in April 2028 before sailing to Antarctica, while Scenic Eclipse II is scheduled to return to Asia Pacific in 2028. A further ship is planned for India’s Brahmaputra River in 2028.

Celebrating 40 years with the trade
UK celebrations will include special dinners for Scenic & Emerald Rewards members in Birmingham and Guildford, featuring Angela Rippon, who will share insights from her broadcasting career and Scenic river cruises on the Mekong and Rhine. The anniversary will also feature a special edition of Loyalty Magazine Inspire.
Scenic Group’s Forty & Fabulous trade agent incentive offers 40 prizes. Agents booking a river cruise by 4 November 2026 will enter the draw to win prizes including champagne, a river cruise for two and a wine-tasting experience with lunch at The Shard.
International celebrations include Rewards member events and trade partner roadshows in Australia and New Zealand, alongside selected cruises featuring special anniversary events.
