The initiative is designed to bring travel agents and industry partners closer together – both physically and professionally.
It has been launched following an increasing number of luxury travel agents transitioning to an independent contractor model, according to reports from last year.
The company, which is one of the leading villa rental providers in the world with a portfolio of over 14,000 properties across more than 150 destinations, has one of its offices at Bramling House near Canterbury, England.
This initiative offers current partners who work from home the opportunity to work in a professional environment, build relationships with the Top Villas team, and access training tailored to their needs.
Not only this, but the initiative opens the door for travel agents hoping to partner with one of the world’s leading villa rental providers to do so and access hands-on support in person which is often overlooked in our modern digital age.
Edward Frampton-Fell, Top Villas’ General Manager, said: "We felt that there was a lack of opportunities for independent travel agents to work closely with the primary travel companies they collaborate with within the UK. Given the industry has made huge shifts to home working in recent years, and more luxury agents are transitioning to become independent, we felt this was the type of meaningful initiative that was needed in the UK travel market.
"Our hopes for our hot desking initiative are that it provides a useful, in-person space for agents working with us to connect and grow alongside industry peers, and strengthen our relationships to deliver meaningful experiences for more holidaymakers."
Top Villas’ partners will also receive support with the travel agent portal and marketing suite available on the Top Villas website. Complimentary tea and coffee will be available to all agents attending the hot desk facility, which will be open on weekdays from 9am to 5pm.
